• From the beginning

Every Child has a starting point in their MX adventure. Whether they dream of racing at a professional level, or just want to go riding with dear old Dad. Club57 can get them started down the right path. It is crucial that good practice habits and riding technique be at the forefront during the early stages of this sport. By following this formula we can reduce the risk of injury, and increase the fun factor in MX. The curriculum used for youth MX Schools is a bit different than the Adult schools. Club57 understands, and caters to the age-appropriate needs, and abilities of the children participating in this sport.

• Introduction to dirt

Club57 has developed the Introduction to dirt series of MX Schools. These schools are designed for riders who are new to the sport. The goal is to familiarize youth riders with off-road riding, and gain MX Track experience. The lesson plans will cover the basic skills required to participate in this sport. We will also discuss in great detail bike control, track conditions, and obstacle negotiation. The children will learn how to share a track with other riders, and overcome common track distractions.
A proper learning environment is created through class size, and riders’ skill level. An average size of an Introduction to dirt MX School is between 2-5 riders.

• The little racer

Youth racing is the future of our sport! Club57 has identified with the demand for youth racing MX Schools. For the younger riders looking to go faster, this is the class for you. Some of the common areas of concern are: improper braking, coasting, blipping of the throttle, and lack of confidence while jumping, to name a few. In order to improve some of these weak areas, Club57 will identify with the root of the problem. The riders will learn how to overcome their weak points, through a series of: goal orientated exercises, fundamental drills, racing modules, and proper starting procedures.
The parents are also along for the ride. We will assist the parents in bike set-up and maintenance, goal setting, racing strategy, and creating a proper practice environment.

• Equipment

Club57 has a minimum requirement of a helmet, eye protection, and heavy boots for Youth MX Schools.
Club57 does not offer any bike, or equipment rentals.
